The DC Film Alliance (DCFA) serves and strengthens the media arts in the greater Washington DC region by bringing together filmmakers and the public to participate in diverse film, video, television, and multimedia events.

Internships

The DC Film Alliance offers various intern positions throughout the year in arts administration, sales and marketing, and festival planning. Interns receive significant, hands-on experience working with our expanding and dynamic non-profit arts group.

The DC Film Alliance serves and strengthens the media arts in the greater Washington DC region by bringing together filmmakers and the public to participate in diverse film, video, television, and multimedia programs. Major programs include the annual DC Shorts Film Festival, the DC Film Salon, and a web-based Central Film Calendar and Resource Bank.

No prior film experience is required for the positions in administration and sales/marketing. The filmmaker liaison internship is reserved for an aspiring filmmaker.

DCFA selects self-motivated, Mac-friendly individuals who possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to work with a range of diverse people, and pay a strong attention to detail.
