The Our City Film Festival is the only festival that showcases DC-focused films. We encourage filmmakers to make films that will bring our communities together and celebrate the rich cultures, stories and scenes that make up Washington, DC.  Started as an outreach effort in 2008 by Yachad, a DC non-profit committed to affordable housing and community development, the festival is now entering its fifth year as not only a fundraiser and outreach for Yachad, but an event all its own.  Since 2008 we have launched filmmakers careers, helping them gain audiences, press attention, cash prizes and television deals and our loyal audience looks forward to our festival every year.  We welcome everyone to Our City whether you are a filmmaker, audience member or possible partner.
